Chemistry Lab

Marshmallow Engineering

Code Busting
In this cryptography activity, students will learn how to crack basic secret codes like Atbash. They'll practice problem-solving, pattern recognition, and logical thinking while uncovering hidden messages — just like real codebreakers.
More Hands-On Biology
In this biology workshop, students will carry out a real lab experiment: extracting DNA from strawberries using household materials. The activity takes about 40 minutes, giving students time to learn the science behind DNA while seeing it firsthand.
