Competition Details

Mathematics Competition Structure

  • Sprint Round (9:00 - 9:45 AM): 30 problems, 45 minutes, individual competition
  • Target Round (10:15 AM - 12:00 PM): 8 problems, 1 hour 45 minutes, individual competition

Grade Divisions

  • Elementary Division: Grades 3-5
  • Middle School Division: Grades 6-8

Scoring & Awards

  • Individual scores combine Sprint and Target round results
  • Top 10 finishers in each division receive medals and certificates
  • Special recognition for outstanding problem-solving approaches
  • All participants receive participation certificates

Important Information

What to Bring

  • Photo ID or school identification
  • Calculator (scientific calculator recommended, graphing calculators allowed)
  • Pencils and erasers
  • Comfortable clothing for the competition day
  • Water bottle (water stations available)

Transportation & Parking

  • By Car: Visitor parking available in Lot 20 ($5 fee)
  • By Train: Princeton Junction station with shuttle service
  • By Bus: Coordinated transportation for participating schools
  • Campus Map: Available at registration with building locations

  • First aid station available on-site
  • Emergency contact information required during registration
  • All food allergies and dietary restrictions will be accommodated
